– Medical Imaging Author:
Albert Macavski Translaterd
by: Dr. Eng. M.Moussa This book contains a description of the different medical imaging systems using expressions familiar to the electrical engineers including pulse response transforms relations and signal to noise ratio. By this form the relatively complicated systems were explained though understandable words. In chapters 9&10 the theory of diffraction was used in the field of ultrasonic imaging. The mathematical diffraction expressions were derived from the main principles without to assume, that the reader has former knowledge about the subject. The physical theories were adequately pointed out for each kind of imaging. The mathematics was mainly used for the calculation of integrations which dominates the linear system. The book contains some exercises with solution, which help to understand the subject. This book is foreseen for scientists, engineers and students studying for a higher degree. Good scientific knowledge of linear systems and Fourier formation is preferable.
