ACATAP
Arab
Center for Arabization,
Translation, Authorship
and Publication
was established according to an
agreement between the government of Syrian
Arab Republic and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific
Organization ALECSO
to be one of the specialized institutions in the ALECSO.
The center has its legal personality and achieve its goals and tasks in
according
to Arabic Cultural Unity Charter and the ALECSO Constitution.
ACATAP
was established in the year 1989. It aims at:

Arabizing subjects relating to the different specializations of higher
education in the Arab countries.

Enriching the Arab culture with highly refined Works of intellectual
production
of foreign origin, by translating such works into Arabic.

Sharing efforts in translating highly refined Arabic intellectual works in
the
fields of science, art and literature, into widely used foreign languages.
